Tang Dubai Reopens With 395 Seats and Front-Row Fountain Views on 1st October at Palace Downtown Hotel

Burj Khalifa View From TANG Dubai Restaurant Terrace

TANG Dubai is reopening on 1 October at the Palace Downtown Hotel! Just in time for Dubai’s busiest and most vibrant tourist season.

Since the Dubai Fountain renovations are complete, TANG Dubai is bringing back its award-winning Asian flavors that will complement the world’s most famous water show.

In Dubai’s dining scene, TANG Dubai is one of the most sought-after destinations. And this reopening is like the return of fine dining with front row views of one of the most iconic spectacles in Dubai, and the rest of the world, too.

The 395-seat restaurant, which is designed by award-winning architect Tristan du Plessis, is an epitome of modern luxury aesthetics. TANG features a dramatic marble waterfall entrance, a showpiece walk-in wine cellar, and a sweeping outdoor terrace that looks out at both the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountains.

More than just its Asian tropical soul, TANG has become an ultra-sophisticated stage where rich chocolate tones and opulent design prove that Dubai was born for breathtaking spectacles.

After months of anticipation, the fountains have finally been renovated, which means that TANG is back as one of the most sought-after reservation dining spots in the city.

Why Does Everyone Love TANG

Elegant Wine Cellar Inside TANG Dubai Restaurant

When TANG Dubai first opened, it quickly became a favorite among residents and tourists of Dubai. TANG beautifully combines the contemporary Japanese izakaya-style dining with Cantonese cuisine, giving it a whole new meaning than just a place to eat.

On 1 October, TANG’s reopening is carefully aligned with the start of Dubai’s autumn season – the start of the busy tourist season. The city will be brimming with festivals, happy hours, pool days, and international conferences, and tourists from all over the world will come here to Dubai to soak it in.

This timing makes TANG not just a returning restaurant, but a comeback into the cultural and tourist hub of the UAE.

TANG’s hallmark has always been its spectacular interior design.

South African designer Tristan du Plessis has carefully blurred the lines between opulence and modernity. The marble waterfall is a deliberate statement piece to set the standard for luxury. Chocolate-rich tones contrast against marble accents, giving both the touch of earthy Middle Eastern decor and the urban edge of Dubai.

For wine lovers, the walk-in cellar is the most favorite feature of TANG. And for those who prefer to dine outdoors, the terrace remains the most gorgeous spot.

TANG offers uninterrupted views of the Burj Khalifa, and now, it will also give you uninterrupted views of the newly renovated Dubai Fountain.

Two Icons, One Moment

The tagline for TANG’s reopening campaign is “Two icons, one moment.”

This award-winning Asian dining spot has a prestigious reputation, and on the other hand, the  Dubai Fountain, now reimagined and refreshed, is back with its glorious spectacle.

Together, they create a moment that residents and tourists of Dubai won’t forget anytime soon.

The Founder’s Vision

The TANG brand was founded by entrepreneur Nicky van der Walt. His vision as the founder and CEO of the TANG Hospitality has expanded the roots of luxury dining outside Dubai, all the way to Johannesburg and Cape Town as well. TANG is a cosmopolitan dream for Nicky, and he expressed his glee for the reopening of TANG at Palace Downtown with the following words;

“We are thrilled to reopen our doors and welcome back our guests to experience TANG Dubai in its full glory,” said van der Walt in a statement. “Our team has been patiently waiting for this moment, and we are ready to once again deliver an unparalleled dining experience, where every detail whispers luxury.”

Finale

This October, Dubai Fountain will dance once more, this time with more zeal, and diners on TANG’s terrace will view this spectacle while enjoying an even better Japanese contemporary setting and Cantonese cuisine. Let’s prepare to raise our glasses to a moment that feels dream-like.
