People who visit Dubai want to see the tallest building in the world. Those who live in Dubai proudly take them to those restaurants that offer scenic views of Burj Khalifa. It’s a mutual benefit, with both parties enjoying delicious culinary delights and enchanting views in the background. Many restaurants near Burj Khalifa allow you to marvel at the glittering skyline, but here are a few of my favorites.
1. Thiptara
Address: Lobby Level, Palace Downtown, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Phone Number: +971 4 428 7961
Social: @thiptaradubai
Timings: Monday – Sunday, 6 pm to 11:30 pm (for dining)
Price Range: $$$
Thiptara means “magic at the water,” and that is what pulls me to this charming location whenever I am in the mood for Dubai’s luxury and authentic Thai flavors.
The restaurant is located on the ground level of Palace Downtown, which means that you can enjoy the buzz of the city and the tranquil waters side by side.
Thiptara is fine dining just like many other restaurants with Burj Khalifa view. Compared to other casual Thai restaurants throughout Dubai, it’s a bit expensive too.
However, the intimate setting, intricate décor, the breathtaking spectacle of Dubai Mountain, and the glittering, towering Burj Khalifa are worthy of every bit you spend on it.
I would highly suggest checking out their Saturday Brunch to enjoy a variety of Bangkok street-style dishes.
2. Abd El Wahab
Address: Downtown Burj Khalifa Souk Al Bahar, 3rd Floor, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Phone Number: +971 4 423 0988
Social: @abdelwahabuae
Timings: Monday – Sunday, 12 pm to 12 am
Price Range: $$$
Souk al Bahar is my favorite place in Dubai as I get to experience traditional Middle Eastern culture with the city’s glamour mixed in, all due to the courtesy of the restaurants near Burj Khalifa.
That is why my second favorite restaurant to enjoy Downtown Dubai and its stunning Burj Khalifa views is Abd El Wahab.
Situated on the third floor, the restaurant allowed me to have unobstructed views of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountains. With every glance, the city below felt even more expansive, and the skyscraper even more illuminated.
The dishes are prepared using true Lebanese flavors and artful presentations – raw meat platter, hommos, and makdous had us savoring every last bit on our plate.
I went there with my friends and the food portion was enough for us all. The management is friendly, but the place gets filled up pretty quickly, so don’t forget to reserve a spot beforehand.
3. Bice Mare
Address: Souk Al Bahar, Downtown Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Phone Number: +971 4 423 0982
Social: @bicemare
Timings: Monday – Sunday, 12 pm to 11:30 pm
Price Range: $$$$
Bice Mare is one of the most expensive restaurants near Burj Khalifa. Serving authentic Italian seafood and other exclusive items on their menu, I like to indulge now and then in this luxurious dining experience.
The interior décor resembles typical Italian fine dining, with whitewashed surfaces and rustic and blue accents. But of course, I gravitated towards the outdoor terrace, because coming to this place and missing on the views of Burj Khalifa is stupidity.
The menu mirrors the opulence of the restaurant and the views outside. Even though the list of dishes and wines is extensive to the point of being lavish, the fresh lobster linguini immediately caught my eye, and that’s what I ended up ordering.
The flavorful wines originated from Italy, Australia, France, and America heightened the grand culinary experience, as Dubai Fountains and the surreal Burj Khalifa views ensured that the charm of the place never wavered.
4. Asado
Address: First floor, Palace Downtown, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Phone Number: +971 4 428 7961
Timings: Monday, Closed
Tuesday – Saturday, 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm
Sunday, 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm
Price Range: $$$
The Argentinian steakhouse is one of the restaurants with Burj Khalifa view that allows you to celebrate both the modern and traditional spirits of Dubai.
The outdoor terrace does justice to the surreal beauty of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountains. Between Argentinian delights, you’ll find yourself absorbing the beauty of your surroundings.
But the main reason why Asado is among the most visited restaurants near Burj Khalifa is the reasonable prices and the relaxing ambiance.
The outdoor seating was perfect to enjoy my romantic date. All the steaks marinated with the authentic Chimichurri sauce were cooked to perfection.
In my opinion, Asado is the perfect place to step in at any time to enjoy the modernity of the city, traditional hospitality, and the international culinary adventures Dubai can offer you.
5. GIA
Address: New Fashion Avenue, Dubai Mall, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Phone Number: +971 4 234 9986
Social: @gia.dubai
Timings: Monday – Thursday, 10 am to 12 am
Friday – Sunday, 10 am to 1 am
Price Range: $$$
GIA is another one of my favorite restaurants with Burj Khalifa view. Located in Dubai Mall, it’s a classic Italian destination with an all-day dining arrangement and a terrace that never lets the guests get enough of Burj Khalifa views.
The interior of the restaurant is the epitome of modernity and fine dining. However, most guests like to sit outdoors, to appreciate the true beauty of Dubai.
Glittering lights from the skyscrapers, including the gorgeous Burj Khalifa reflect in the waters, with the fountains adding a celebratory touch now and then.
Once you’re in GIA, the food will never disappoint you. The menu offers authentic Italian delicacies like beef ragu lasagna, and black ink gnocchi, but the real star is the crispy Italian tomato pizza.
6. CÉ LA VI
Address: Level 54, Address Sky View Hotel, Tower 2, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Phone Number: +971 4 582 6111
Social: @celavidubai
Timings: Lunch, 12 pm to 4 pm
Dinner, 6 pm to 12:30 am
Price Range: $$$$
CÉ LA VI is one of the restaurants near Burj Khalifa that reminds me of sunny mornings and colorful food platters. Situated on level 45 of Address Sky View Hotel, this restaurant lets you celebrate the sky-high life of Dubai with the bustling cityscape below.
But the towering views of Burj Khalifa still steal the show, even if the menu often succeeds in distracting me from the breathtaking surroundings.
The sky-high rooftop bar is my favorite part – a perfect destination to sip on cocktails while you relax and have hearty conversations with your friends. Bar snacks are available the whole week from 12 pm to 2 am.
The menu offers delectable items like roasted mushroom soup, fried calamari, and grilled Spanish octopus, with a wide range of vegan food items and drinks.
7. Al Bayt
Address: Lobby Level, Palace Downtown, Downtown Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Phone Number: +971 4 428 7961
Timings: 8 am to 10 pm
Price Range: $$$
Al Bayt is a cozy space to enjoy your afternoon tea with Arabian culinary delicacies. It’s a fresh change from the other restaurants near Burj Khalifa that thrive on modern décor and international cuisine.
The majestic vibrancy of the restaurant pairs well with the grandeur of the meals. I went there for afternoon tea and I must say, I never knew there were so many varieties of teas in the world. White Mist, timeless black tea, Oud Night, and Jade of Africa were just a few of them.
It felt like having a cup of tea in this place was a privilege enjoyed by only a few.
The food menu offers many items from a variety of international cuisines, with a special emphasis on providing an Arabic gastronomic adventure. Traditional Hummus, Falafel, Chicken Shawarma, and crispy chicken burgers were just a few of several mouthwatering items.
The indoor dining venue gives way to the terrace offering stunning views of Burj Khalifa – everyone who came here paused for a second to take in the glory of the manmade wonder.
8. Karma Kafé
Address: Souk Al Bahar, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Phone Number: +971 4 423 8306
Social: @karmakafedubai
Timings: 5 pm to 1 am
Price Range: $$$
The best time to visit Karma Kafé is in the evenings when every bite of food is paired with a mesmerizing spectacle of Burj Khalifa, Dubai fountains, and waters glittering with thousands of lights.
It’s one of the few restaurants with Burj Khalifa view offering uninterrupted eclectic beats and authentic pan-Asian cuisine.
The indoor area is framed with large windows offering views of Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain. We chose to sit near them, and I saw Dubai from the eyes of a tourist and understood why the city makes everyone fall in love with it so quickly.
Burj Khalifa wasn’t the only building as our majestic companion, but the whole Downtown neighborhood was the star of the night. The pan-Asian dishes didn’t disappoint and stayed true to their flavors as we ordered sushi, spicy salmon, and of course the creamy and sweet DIM SUM.
9. The Meat Co.
Address: Souk Al Bahar, Downtown Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Phone Number: +971 4 420 0737
Social: @themeatcome
Timings: 12 pm to 11:30 pm
Price Range: $$$
This steakhouse also offers an outdoor sitting area like other restaurants near Burj Khalifa. It’s the ideal location to savor the best steaks in Dubai with a mesmerizing backdrop of Dubai’s thriving cityscape.
Their meats undergo a unique aging process to ensure every flavor is balanced and reflective of its African heritage. The place can get filled up pretty quickly because honestly, no one can resist a good steak. So I had to reserve a place for me and my friends, which I suggest you should also do.
It’s a perfect location to have a business lunch with your important clients. Let the serene Burj Khalifa views cast their spell on them, making every deal a success. The lunch menu is set from Monday to Thursday from noon to 4 pm, at just AED 200 per person.

The ambiance, the stunning views of Burj Khalifa, and the delectable food items of these 9 restaurants are all you need to experience Dubai at its finest. Make sure that you are visiting these restaurants when the weather is comfortable, particularly in the winter months. So that you can sit in the outdoor dining area and have an unobstructed, front-row view of the tallest building in the world.
