The list goes on.

Creamy Orecchiette Verde at The Duplex, Antojitos at Mi Tocaya Antojería for your little cravings, and butter chicken Calzones at Superkhana International – there is a slew of the best restaurants in Logan Square Chicago, and this list is just the top of the iceberg.

Unforgettable ambience, and too much good food. If you are visiting Logan Square even for a few hours, visiting at least one of these restaurants is a must.

The Tempting Food Scene Of The Best Restaurants In Logan Square

The Duplex

Address: 3137 W Logan Boulevard, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

From the moment we saw the daily specials menu at The Duplex, we knew it would be one of our favorite restaurants in Logan Square. Why? Besides the elegant décor, relaxed atmosphere, and innovative dishes, the daily specials look just amazing.

The brunch goes on every day from 10 am to 3 pm, but that’s not all. Bottomless mimosa brunches, pasta dishes, and bottles of wines at half the price – these are some of the reasons why so many customers are attracted to The Duplex Restaurant in Logan Square.

Scofflaw

Address: 3201 W Armitage Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

Scofflaw is such a Victorian and rustic bar in the center of Logan Square! Everything on the happy hour, brunch, dinner, and cocktails menu looks fantastic.

From 20th-century London Dry Gin, Gold Rush bourbon, and late-night combo bar food that is so much more than boring snacks – BBQ Mushroom Sandwich and Scofflaw Burger with fries are only a few of them – make it so hard to choose what to order, making Scofflaw a place to get the best food in logan square Chicago.

We always end up going for the happy hour special – all those amazing cocktails in just $8, sounds like a steal of a deal, right?

Mi Tocaya Antojería

Address: 2800 W Logan Boulevard, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

All the delicious flavors of Mexico are available at Mi Tocaya Antojería. We love the colorful design of this Mexican restaurant in Logan Square, as well as the food presentation and the fun drinks courtesy of the owner and Chef Diana Davila.

Mi Tocaya Antojería is also awarded a Bib Gourmand, which means that you can bet on its quality of food. Order something from the melted cheese Costra tacos, chela-marinated Steak Burrito, or the local black beans Fritos with a seasonal cocktail, and you will leave stuffed and happy.

And you should definitely try something from the Antojitos menu (small cravings/snacks) – such as guisado de nopalitos or the Single Origin Picada.

    Lula Cafe

Address: 2537 N Kedzie Boulevard, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

There wouldn’t be a complete list of the best restaurants in Logan Square without mentioning Lula Café. This is the farm-to-table restaurant that we have been talking about.

And no, we are not exaggerating when we say that this funky, market-driven Logan Square dining will serve the best meal of your life.

Their brunch is the talk of the town, in which every dish is pure perfection. Summer Berry Almond Danish, Litchi Noir Chocolate Babka, Sourdough French Toast and so many other dishes can rival tasting menus of the most exquisite restaurants in Chicago.

      Paulie Gee’s

Address: 2451 N Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

At Paulie Gee’s, you have the option of choosing between Neapolitan-inspired woodfired pizzas or the Detroit-inspired Logan Squares. We think you know what we chose – the wood-fired pizzas, of course!

We savored the Delboy fresh mozzarella pizza, the Big Bad Wolf with Berkshire sopressata piccante, and the Ricky Ricotta with sweet Italian fennel sausages. But we are still thinking about the Fungivore, Cheesavore, and Carnivore Logan Squares (maybe we should go back and try them out as well.)

Plus, the vibe is super chic and rustic, with the functional wood-fired ovens set in an absolutely gorgeous display behind the counters.

        Lonesome Rose

Address: 2101 N California Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

We found the Mexican food at Lonesome Rose to be even better than what we had most of our time in Mexico, and that is saying something because we had visited some of the best restaurants in the region.

The space is set in a warehouse, with two bars and outdoor seating, which is absolutely gorgeous. The all-day main menu offers perfectly cooked crunchy beef quesaritos, black bean nachos, and beer-battered Baja Fish.

Lonesome Rose is indeed one of the top restaurants in Logan Square as the food is served in decent sized portions, and the stunning décor is something that makes us glad to pay again for a visit to this restaurant.

          Superkhana International

Address: 3059 W Diversey Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

Superkhana International is easily one of the best restaurants in Logan Square, Chicago, for a modern spin on Indian recipes. Take a look at the menu yourself – Calzones filled with butter chicken and Amul Cheese, Chana Chaat, Corn Noodles with Kari Leaf Masla, and Maggi Moodle Bolognese with Achar Masala.

Not to mention the delicious Hot Chai, a family recipe by Chef Zee, and the Superkhana Ice Cream sandwiches with saffron-infused ice cream between the Parle G Biscuits.

            Giant

Address: 3209 W Armitage Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

Giant is a New American gastropub, another one of our favorites among the best restaurants in Logan square.

There is a reason why everyone in Chicago raves about this restaurant. Inside the unpretentious restaurant, the tables are closely arranged, so that you might need to maneuver between them. But it still somehow manages to make the small space look so cozy – the petite surroundings and eccentric art more than makeup for it.

The food, however, is far from being modest. A crab salad with waffle fries, an Albacore tuna with white soy and pineapples, and pecan and strawberry Cajeta ice cream is worth it all, even when the restaurant doesn’t offer the glitz and glam that most other restaurants in Logan Square do.

              Longman & Eagle

Address: 2657 N Kedzie Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

Longman & Eagle isn’t your typical age-old inn. Reimagining the way seasoned travelers can enjoy the best food in Logan Square Chicago as well as a place to stay, this aesthetic and contemporary restaurant has an innovative farm-to-table menu, smooth wine offerings, and an urban escape that is as refreshing as it is familiar.

Everything we order at Longman & Eagle comes out delicious. No harm in checking out the weekend brunch menu as well, which has everything from ‘French Toast’ Suzette To Soft Shell Crab Benedict.

Besides, you can always overstay your welcome and choose one of the six rooms that are decorated in the most casual and appealing way possible.

                Osteria Langhe

Address: 2824 W Armitage Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

Have a Piemontese dinner or drinks at Osteria Langhe, which, besides being one of the most aesthetic restaurants in Logan Square, has a food and wine menu that hits the mark every time.

We love the weekly features here which allows us to enjoy a four course menu, sometimes wine at half the price, and other times a family friendly wood fire meal where Chef Fabian creates something delicious from the summer produce.

The menu is a celebration of Northern Italian flavors, so expect a lot of brown butter seared morels, cheese ravioli, slagel farms lamb and zucchini noodles.

                  Bungalow by Middle Brow

Address: 2840 W Armitage Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

Eating inside Bungalow by Middle Brow is an absolute treat. Rustic shelves, dark wooden bench seats, lots of natural light, and an open taproom – although there are some outdoor seats, you will definitely want to sit indoors in the gorgeous restaurant.

This is easily one of the best restaurants in Logan Square if you are in the mood for some local food. The beers are made in-house, and wines are from grapes that are raised well and handpicked. And don’t forget to take some insta-worthy photos of the pizza, Tres leches tatemada, and the bread plates.

                    The Chicago Diner

Address: 2333 N Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

Have some leafy greens at The Chicago Diner, inside probably the most casual ambiance you will find at Logan Square.

The exposed brick walls, upholstered wooden booths, and ambient lights make it one of the places where you catch up with old friends over dinner or reserve a “table for one” to unwind after work.

Wondering what’s on the menu? The Chicago Diner has the most amazing vegan and vegetarian dishes – Fish Tacos, Gyros Salad, and Chicken Bacon Ranch Club are some of the seasonal specials. But you can also stick to your favorites, the black bean burgers or marinated seitan sandwiches if you cannot decide what to order.

                      Gretel

Address: 2833 W Armitage Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

Gretel is one of the top restaurants in Logan Square where you will find a simple menu that stays true to typical gastropub fare, such as Oysters on the Half Shell, Jumbo Fried Shrimp, Sticky Ribs, and Lobster Rolls. Simple but very delicious.

The food at Gretel definitely lives up to its hype, but the burgers and meat dishes are not the only thing that stands out at this gastropub.

The wine list is huge, but the only thing missing here is a dessert menu, but we think that isn’t a strong enough reason for which our steps wavered from entering this place.

                        Andros Taverna

Address: 2542 N Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

The ambiance of Andros Taverna is as much steeped in Greek interior design as the food menu. Relying on natural stone floors, a soft touch of color among all the wooden accents, and lush greenery splashed around the shelves and tables – yes, you really need to make a reservation at this logan square dining.

While it easily makes it on top of the most aesthetic restaurants in Logan Square, Chicago, it is much more than the ambiance. The food is spectacular, with plenty of seafood delicacies, crisp salads, classic mezes, and pita bread brushed with olive oil. There is so much happening in the kitchen, and you need to keep an eye out for the daily seafood specials, Friday lunches, and weekend brunches to enjoy the best of Greek flavors.

                          Table, Donkey and Stick

Address: 2728 W Armitage Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

A meal at Table, Donkey, and Stick feels like you are sitting in one of those rustic Alpine region restaurants with wooden beams, sloping roofs, and outdoor terraces to enjoy the fresh air.

Let’s just say there is a reason why we call it the most eclectic restaurant in Logan Square. The restaurant is so warm and cozy that you will want to sit in for a house charcuterie on a cold day.

Just make sure to bring your friends too, as the duck liver mousse, finocchiona, mortadella, and other items will be so much in quantity that you won’t be able to gobble them up alone.
